These terms apply when you use Parley, a free pilot website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you only read, the parts about accounts and posts don't apply to you.

What Parley is

Parley shows headlines and short excerpts from Philippine news outlets and links to each publisher's own site for the full story. The stories belong to their publishers. Parley isn't affiliated with them and doesn't vouch for what they report.

It's a pilot

Parley is being tested. Features may change, pause or stop, and the site may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. It's provided as is, free of charge.

Your account

• You need a working email address. Keep access to it secure, because login links go there.
• One account per person. Choose a display name that isn't offensive and doesn't pretend to be someone else.
• You can delete your account anytime on the Account page.

Posting and discussion

When discussion features open, you're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything that:

• is defamatory, threatening, harassing or hateful;
• shares someone else's personal information without their consent;
• copies full articles or other content you don't have the right to share;
• is spam, advertising, or deliberately false or misleading; or
• breaks any Philippine law.

Anyone can report a post. We may remove posts that break these rules, promptly after we're told about them, and may suspend accounts that keep breaking them.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change affects account holders, we'll tell you on the site or by email. Questions: aldwin@echonews.co.
